Every1 Project Consortium meets in Brussels for second project General Assembly

EVERY1 Group Photo Brussels

Every1 partners from across Europe met in Brussels, Belgium on November 28-29 to discuss project progress, upcoming objectives, and overall goals. Organised by Project Coordinator Flux50, the second Project General Assembly provided an excellent opportunity to review the results of the previous months and define the consortium’s next main steps to achieve project objectives. Highlights from the meeting included the completion of Deliverable 1.3 “Ecosystem design guidance with tailored plan for piloting new ecosystems”, first insights into topics and learning gaps for the different stakeholder types, and the results of the Every1 Photo Competition. Other topics addressed included the soon-to-be-launched synergy project communication network, which will leverage the communication outlets of projects within the network to share D&C activities to a wider audience; upcoming project round tables, publishing the first Every1 article in a scientific journal and the end of the first project reporting period.

Attendees participated in multiple workshops over the course of the two-day meeting. The first day included a workshop on the co-creation of learning materials. Four groups worked on the format, content, and type of ecosystem for Co-creation, as well as the initial design of these learning materials. On the second day of the General Assembly, project partners enjoyed a team-building workshop to prepare the work packages for collaborative activities happening in 2024 when the project’s Market Enabler’s Network and Ecosystem engagement activities will be up and running. Participants also participated in a Steinbeis-run workshop on communication and dissemination activities, to prepare key EXPLORE-SHAPE-UNITES activities in the next phase of the project. The results of both workshops will help project partners to better understand the interconnected work of each work package and how to best communicate it to project stakeholders.

The Every1 Project, funded by the European Commission's Horizon Europe Programme, aims to enhance capacity and skills in the Digital Energy Transition landscape, empowering local authorities, civil society organisations, private companies, and citizens to scale successful practises. The project follows a phased approach consisting of three pillars: explore, shape, and act, supporting and engaging the community in local energy transition processes. It develops and deploys advanced tools, guidance materials, platforms, and services to foster cooperation, knowledge transfer, and joint action in the field.
